The Steinway Piano Gallery is set to host an evening of music with its upcoming event, “Doctors in Recital,” featuring local physicians who are trading stethoscopes for sheet music in support of a noble cause.

Scheduled for 6 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at Museo, 5115 Fannin St., the event will showcase talent intertwined with a spirit of philanthropy. Doors open at 5:30 p.m., leading to a series of performances by esteemed medical professionals who are not only dedicated to the well-being of their patients, but also possess a passion for music. UTHealth Houston physicians set to take the stage include Neale Clark, MD; Khashayar Hematpour, MD; Maria Matuszczak, MD; Marc Rhoads, MD; Allison Speer, MD; and Michael Yafi, MD. Their repertoire will include compositions ranging from Gershwin to Mozart, Piazzolla to Ravel — offering a diverse musical experience for attendees.

The event, which is open to the public with valet parking available, will also serve as a platform to raise funds for a worthy cause. Donations collected on-site will benefit the Department of Pediatrics, highlighting the commitment of these physicians to the health and well-being of children in the community.

To secure a seat, contact Amanda Watson at Steinway Piano Gallery by calling 281-674-7764 or by visiting steinwaypianos.com/doctors-in-recital.

Following the performances, attendees will enjoy a reception featuring hors d’oeuvres and beverages, providing a chance for guests to mingle with the doctors and fellow music enthusiasts.
