The Lawrence Family Bone Disease Program of Texas hosts its 20th annual Scientific Retreat on April 19, at the Jan and Dan Duncan Neurological Research Center. The Bone Disease Program of Texas is a collaborative research, clinical, and education program of UTHealth Houston, Baylor College of Medicine, and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center designed to transform bone health by leading in multidisciplinary collaborative research, treatment, and training.

Keynote speaker for the 2024 event was Ernestina Schipani, MD, PhD, William Wikoff Smith Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, Perelman Medical School.
