Annual Benefits Fair Fiesta set for July 11
The UTHealth Houston Office of Payroll and Benefits will host its Annual Employee Benefits Fair Fiesta from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston’s Leather Lounge, 6431 Fannin St.
The event is open to all active employees and is an opportunity to ask providers questions. The event will have a fiesta theme with decorations and fun games with prizes.
Paid parking is available at the UTHealth Houston Professional Building Garage, 6414 Fannin St. Attendees may also use the UTHealth Houston shuttle service, which has a drop-off directly next to McGovern Medical School. An institutional badge is required to ride, and a web-based tracking system for the shuttles is available online. The building is also near a METRORail station.

- Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas
- Airrosti, which provides treatment for muscle and joint pain
- Delta Dental, UT System’s dental insurance provider
- Superior Vision, UT System’s vision insurance provider
- Your Money Line, approved UTHealth Houston financial coaching benefit
- University Federal Credit Union, a new UTHealth Houston option for banking needs

UTHealth Houston employee resources including Employee Assistance and Well-being Programs, Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston, Gift Planning, and Payroll will also be on hand. In addition, The University of Texas Houston Retiree Organization, the university’s retirement group, will be at the event.
The Benefits staff, partner vendors, and insurance carriers will be available to discuss upcoming changes for the next plan year.
The annual enrollment period begins Friday, July 15, and runs through Sunday, July 31. The new plan year begins Sept. 1.
