The UTHealth Houston Neuroscience Research Center invites the community to the 2024 Neuroscience Public Forum on “Connecting Your Brain to Computers.”

Featuring leading experts in the neurosciences, the event will be held at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at The Health Museum (1515 Hermann Dr.). The event is free for the public to attend.

Nitin Tandon, MD, professor in the Department of Neurosurgery, and Nancy Clive and Pierce Runnels Distinguished Chair in Neuroscience and BCMS Distinguished Professor in Neurological Disorders and Neurosurgery, leads a panel discussion also featuring Jacob Robinson, PhD, professor of electrical and computer engineering and bioengineering at Rice University and Matt Angle, PhD, founder and chief executive officer of Paradromics.

The NRC public forum is one of Houston’s largest public neuroscience outreach events. The free forum allows community members to interact with clinicians, scientists, and advocates. A major goal of the NRC is to promote neuroscience in the community through collaboration with local advocacy groups.
