The Sim Interest Group hosted hosted a Simulation Competition, Feb. 26 in the Surgical and Clinical Skills Center at McGovern Medical School. The MS1s have been working all year to practice clinical cases in the high-fidelity simulation lab. Each team was mentored by an MS2 to help them learn how to approach a medically challenging case. Their practice and hard work was capped off by a traditional simulation competition consisting of two emergency cases, in which they had eight minutes to come to a diagnosis and treatment.

The winners of the competition were from team White Coat Shinobis (WCS) and included Stefanie Faucher, Joshua LeBaron, Hasan Mubarak, Tyler Tran, and Isaac Parker.

The other team, MiLCK, consisted of Thien Ly Nguyen, Kale Kitlowski, Matthew Ghebranious, Cathryn Bigham, and Mary Chen.

Officers are: Jeff Kue, Joe Jansen, Madison Horn, Pallavi Muraleedharan, Maxwell Hum, and Merrick Ganer.

The Sim Interest Group would like to thank Anthony Liu, Catherine Zhang, and Fernando Sosa for their help with the competition.
