Population Health Symposium set for April 10

The Office of Population Health invites UTHealth Houston faculty, staff, and residents to join the inaugural Population Health Symposium from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m., April 10 at the Brown Foundation Institute of Molecular Medicine.

Keynote speakers for the event will be Eric Boerwinkle, PhD, dean of the UTHealth Houston School of Public Health and David Lakey, MD, vice chancellor for Health Affairs and chief medical officer of The University of Texas System.

The Population Health Symposium aims to discuss and share insights, strategies, and innovations aimed at improving population health, which are health outcomes for groups of individuals. Sessions will consist of lectures on population health priorities in Texas and UTHealth Houston as well as funding opportunities and partnership perspectives in population health.
