Hands-On Health Care

Incoming high school juniors and seniors from Fort Bend and Lamar Consolidated ISD were invited to Hands-On Health Care, a free interactive health care event. As the name suggests, the 54 students in attendance got to experience some of the most physical jobs of a provider: simulated suturing, intubation, IV starts, and CPR taught by experts, all in a very approachable environment.

The introductions, networking, and conversations were invaluable, both for these future physicians and nurses and the current workforce.
