Pediatric Neuroscience Dinner Series set for Oct. 22

UTHealth Houston Neurosciences will host the Pediatric Neuroscience Dinner Series at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 22, at Hotel ZaZa Memorial City (9787 Katy Fwy.).
The Pediatric Neuroscience Dinner Series aims to meet the educational needs of those in pediatric specialties, including community physicians, physician assistants, residents, fellows, and nurse practitioners. The talks are designed to provide clinicians with updates on the latest advances in the management and treatment of pediatric neurosurgical conditions.
The lectures will address various time-sensitive pediatric craniofacial differences, including head shape, ear deformities, cleft palate, and jaw abnormalities, as well as candidacy for head shape and craniosynostosis treatments. Presentations will also explore pediatric movement disorder presentations and treatment options.
Keynote speakers for the event are Manish Shah, MD, professor, John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Distinguished Chair in the Department of Pediatric Surgery, and THINK Neurology Chair in Pediatric Tumor Research and Innovation, and Danielle Sobol, MD, assistant professor in the Department of Surgery.
