McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston has entered a new era in communications, strengthened by the recent partnership with the UTHealth Houston Office of Public Affairs and University Web Services in the Department of Marketing and Communications.

Through enhanced collaboration, shared creative resources, and streamlined processes, McGovern Medical School Communications is ready to provide enhanced support for the school’s next chapter in its mission to transform medicine as well as the overall mission of UTHealth Houston.

The new direction focuses on a more strategic approach to storytelling with expanded opportunities to showcase the school’s work, promote innovation and achievements, highlight patient care, and elevate the voices of students, faculty, and staff.

Finalized on Dec. 1, this new approach also makes it easier than ever to access the creative resources the school and other university departments rely on while also cutting costs. Headshot photography, video and multimedia production, graphic design, and web services are now offered at no cost to departments. Poster printing is no longer available at McGovern Medical School, but services are available at select UTHealth Houston locations and through an approved vendor.
