Leaders from across McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston gathered in the Fifth Floor Gallery for an interactive leadership retreat designed to strengthen alignment across the school’s education, research, and clinical missions. The in-person working session brought together 75 leaders for collaborative discussions focused on the school’s strategic direction in the year ahead.

The retreat combined structured dialogue, collaborative problem-solving, and large-group working sessions to encourage meaningful engagement and leadership alignment. Participants worked to identify three to five shared strategic priorities, strengthen collaboration across mission areas, and build stronger cohesion within the leadership team.
