Future in Focus Survey: Make sure our school’s voice is heard

As UTHealth Houston develops its vision for the next decade through the Future in Focus Strategic Plan, the perspectives and experiences of the McGovern Medical School community must help shape that vision.

To date, only 8% of our McGovern Medical School community has completed the survey. This means many important voices have not yet been heard. I am asking every member of our community—including faculty, staff, students, and trainees—to take 10–20 minutes to participate:

Your feedback will help guide priorities across the plan’s four pillars: Research, Education, Clinical Care, and Organizational Excellence. Strong participation from McGovern Medical School will help ensure that our community’s experiences, needs, ideas, and opportunities are meaningfully represented in the university’s future direction.

The survey remains open, and all responses are confidential. Please make time to complete it as soon as possible. If you have already participated, thank you—and please encourage your colleagues to do the same.

Every response strengthens our collective voice. Your perspective matters, and your participation is vital to this process.
