COVID-19 Resources & Updates

We have implemented strenuous and cautionary efforts to ensure our team helps prevent the the spread of COVID-19.  There are several newly enforced protocols and precautions for UTHealth, UTPhysicians, and our hospital partners at Memorial Hermann and Harris Health Hospitals.  We have encompassed several of these resources and updates for your reference, below.

April 4 – Internal, CVSurgery COVID-19 Plan Procedures & Protocols

March 24 – no visitors will be allowed for patients in isolation, including those under evaluation or who have tested positive for COVID-19, until further notice

March 20 – Memorial Hermann postpones all elective, non-urgent surgeries, procedures and out-patient services

March 25 – Limiting visitor access to clinics: we ask individuals 18 years or older do not bring any minors or additional guests with them to their appointments, exceptions allow one guest if patient has mobility or neurological challenges
