Biography

Kirsten Ostherr is the Gladys Louise Fox Professor of English and Chair of the English Department at Rice University (external link), where she is a media scholar, health researcher, and the founding director of the Medical Humanities Program. Dr. Ostherr is also the Co-founder and Director of the Medical Futures Lab (external link), and Adjunct Professor at UTHealth School of Public Health (external link) in the Division of Health Promotion and Behavioral Sciences (external link).
