Pritha Bhattacharyya wins prize for fiction

Pritha Bhattacharyya, MFA, won the 2023 Inprint Joan and Stanford Alexander Prize in Fiction. As part of the Menil’s Neighborhood Community Day on April 1, she will give a short reading of her prize-winning work alongside other award recipients. Bhattacharyya is a fiction PhD candidate in Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Houston, an Inprint C. Glenn Cambor Fellow, and an instructor for the McGovern Center’s Writers’ Workshop for Health Professionals, which welcomed its first class of writing fellows in the fall of 2022.
