Former Senior Coordinator of Special Programs, Angela Gomez, EdD, MBA, MS, has been promoted to faculty as of May 1. Gomez has been a member of the McGovern Center and UTHealth Houston for nearly 14 years, and serves as the Co-director of the university’s Quality Enhancement Plan, “Healthcare Policy for Health Professionals.” Dr. Gomez will continue to manage various programs on the Center’s behalf and develop learning opportunities for students, faculty, and staff on educational research, assessment, and program development and evaluation.
