Writing Fellows share their work at special reading event

On Friday, June 16, six fellows of the McGovern Center’s inaugural class of the Writing Fellowship shared their work in a special reading event held in the McGovern Medical School Leather Lounge. Readings were presented by Emily Barr, PhD, RN, Bina Dara, MBBS, Renee Flores, MD, Dana Giza, MD, Kevin Hwang, MD, MPH, Lilit Sargsyan, MD, Collins Scott, MD, and Bassam Zahid, MD. Fellows shared personal stories, selections from books- or screenplays-in-progress, and poetry. Thanks to Danny Palomba from the Office of Communications for the event photos.
