Biography

Joelle Robertson-Preidler is an assistant professor in the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). Before joining the McGovern Center, she was an assistant professor in the Center for Medical Ethics and Health Policy at Baylor College of Medicine where she had previously completed a clinical ethics fellowship.

Dr. Robertson-Preidler’s research and teaching interests focus on equitable communication and decision-making for patients near the end of life. She is also involved in research on improving clinical ethics services, especially in low-resource settings.
