Rice Humanities student Prisha Jonnalagadda presented a poster at the 2024 Artful Medicine Conference hosted by Missouri Southern State University in October 2023. She worked on a summer scholarship project on the history and evolution of Doctor of Osteopathy schools alongside Center faculty member, Mary Horton, PhD, MPH, MA. The poster, “The Persistence and Evolution of Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Schools,” won 3rd place in the poster competition. Jonnalagadda is also a member of the Facilitated Acceptance Program and has received a pre-match acceptance letter from McGovern Medical School. She is expected to start her medical education in Fall 2024. Congratulations, Prisha!
