Keisha Ray, PhD, McGovern Professor of Oslerian Medicine and Associate Professor with the McGovern Center, was recently interviewed by STAT. The interview focused on new CMS guidelines on pelvic exams on anesthetized patients. Ray noted that while students should have access to pelvic exams for learning purposes, “we can’t forgo patient care just so that they can have education.”
