Human Ties Digest

The McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics initially launched a humanities-focused publication in 2018 to showcase the creative work of students, residents, faculty, and staff within the center. Human Ties Digest is a student-led annual publication that holds space for all faculty, trainees, and staff within UTHealth Houston and McGovern Medical School to share their creative works. Themes from previous editions include finding hope amidst uncertainty and the value of identities (both personal and professional).

The Human Ties Digest has 3 medical student senior co-editors for 2026-2027.
