While the COVID-19 pandemic has ushered uncertainty into all of our lives, our team remains committed to your care. We understand that other medical issues will arise and continue, and we do not believe that your care should be deferred.
Our clinics across the greater Houston region remain open and ready to serve. Every day, we are screening our employees and patients to help keep everyone safe. We are also offering virtual options for our patients to receive care from their homes.
Virtual Clinic
The UTHealth Houston Neurosciences Virtual Clinic offers patients consultations from their homes via video conferencing technology. The Virtual Clinic is accessible through a computer’s web browser or through the free mobile app, InTouch Patient. Physicians affiliated with the Virtual Clinic can assist in diagnosis and development of a treatment plan, evaluate patients’ progress after surgery, and help navigate patients to another level of care.
Telephone Visits
UTHealth Houston Neurosciences physicians are also able to consult with their patients over the phone during their regularly scheduled appointment time. This option is available for our patients who do not have internet access or who are more comfortable with a phone call.
Portal Access
Through our Patient Portal, you can message your provider, check lab results, schedule appointments, and more. Click here to access the Portal, and contact us if you have any questions.
How to Access Virtual Care
If you are interested in trying one of our virtual appointment options, contact your UTHealth Houston Neurosciences clinic to discuss which option may be best suited for your needs. Virtual options may vary slightly depending on your appointment type and your provider. We will do our best to accommodate all patients, especially those that are high risk for contracting an infection.
