Divisions and Programs
Division of General Obstetrics and Gynecology
Our goal is to provide superior medical care for women of all ages. Each member of the division is skilled in general obstetrics, benign gynecology, obstetric procedures, and gynecologic surgery. Faculty from the Generalist Division see patients in the Texas Medical Center, Bellaire, Friendswood, Greater Heights, Memorial City, Sugar Land, Sienna Village, Southeast, Wharton, The Heights, and Bayshore clinics. Faculty also supervise residents in the residents’ clinic, Labor and Delivery, and in the operating rooms.
Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine
We offer consultations to patients with high-risk obstetrical problems, referred by their regular obstetrician. In addition, we offer ultrasound, antenatal testing, and genetic diagnosis/counseling. The Fetal Center is a multi-specialty clinic that provides comprehensive health care for pregnant women with high-risk medical complications and fetuses with congenital anomalies and genetic conditions.
Division of Fetal Intervention
The Division of Fetal Intervention in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at The University of Texas Health Science Center Houston (UTHealth) is a national referral center and an international leader in fetal diagnosis, fetal intervention and comprehensive fetal care for infants with congenital anomalies or genetic abnormalities. Our team offers patients a complete range of prenatal testing and fetal interventions with a coordinated program for mother and child before, during and after birth.
Division of Gynecologic Oncology
We specialize in treating women with gynecologic malignancies in conjunction with medical and radiation.
Division of Genetic Counseling
We specialize in providing information and support to individuals who may be considering genetic screening or testing, or may be at an increased risk for certain genetic conditions based on personal or family health histories.
Division of Advanced Minimally Invasive Gynecology
We provide individualized and personalized surgical and medical care for complex gynecologic conditions. Our physicians perform the majority of procedures via laparoscopy, vaginally robotically, single-site, and hysteroscopically.
Division of Ob/Gyn Hospitalists
We offer a rapidly expanding program that provides direct patient care at multiple sites within the Memorial Hermann healthcare system.
Urogynecology Program
We provide both surgical and non-surgical care to women with pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence, and other pelvic floor disorders. Consultations are available in the TMC, Bellaire, Memorial City, Sugar Land, Southeast, and Bayshore clinics.
