Max C. Cadena, MD

Max Christopher Cadena, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Urogynecology Program within the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology & Reproductive Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of pelvic floor disorders, including pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, and complex gynecologic conditions that affect daily comfort and quality of life.

Dr. Cadena completed his medical degree at the University of Texas Health San Antonio, followed by residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He pursued advanced fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) before returning to Texas to join the faculty at UTHealth Houston.

He is committed to providing compassionate, individualized care, helping patients understand the full range of treatment options—from non-surgical therapies to advanced minimally invasive and reconstructive surgical techniques. His clinical interests include native tissue vaginal reconstruction and approaches that promote long-term healing and improved outcomes.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Cadena is involved in research focused on improving surgical outcomes for pelvic organ prolapse. His current work includes evaluating a novel vaginal support device designed to reduce the risk of prolapse recurrence after surgery. His research has been published in respected medical journals and presented at national and international meetings.

Dr. Cadena is also dedicated to medical education. He has extensive experience teaching medical students and residents through hands-on simulation labs, procedural skills workshops, and evidence-based training sessions.

With a patient-centered approach, Dr. Cadena strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel heard, informed, and confident in their care plan. His goal is to partner with each patient to restore comfort, function, and quality of life.

Pancholy-ApurvaApurva B. Pancholy, MD

Apurva Pancholy, MD,  received his medical degree at the University of Miami Medical School in Miami, Florida and completed his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. His fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery was completed at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Pancholy has been practicing medicine since 2000.  Since then he specializes in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery with clinical interests in pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, fecal incontinence and pelvic pain. Houstonia recognized Dr. Pancholy as a Top Doc for 2013.

He is fluent in Hindi and Gujarati and treats patients 18 years old and up. His practice philosophy is to provide high quality patient centered care. He believes in listening and spending as much time as needed with his patients and providing individualized care. He offers patients a wide variety of treatment options including non-surgical effective care. Dr. Pancholy is married with three children and enjoys sports, cooking and spending time with his family.

Brandon Sass, MD 

Brandon Sass, MD, believes in a personalized approach to care. Treating primarily adults and seniors, Dr. Sass listens to his patient’s needs and concerns. He also makes sure to call his patients with results and visits them on his daily rounds.

To continue providing high quality patient care, Dr. Sass is fellowship-trained in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery.

 

 

Gazala Siddiqui, MDGazala Siddiqui, MD

Gazala Siddiqui, MD, is board certified in both female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery and obstetrics and gynecology. Upon earning her medical degree from J. N. M. Medical College in Raipur, India, Dr. Siddiqui completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai Hospital and Medical Center in Chicago and a fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery at UCLA Medical Center-Los Angeles County-Harbour.

Dr. Siddiqui has been practicing in the Houston area since 2005 treating women 18 years and older and her primary clinical interests are pelvic floor disorders, urinary incontinence and pelvic organ prolapse. Dr. Siddiqui believes in personalized care and respectful treatment of each patient. She enjoys taking care of her patients and believes in providing compassionate care to women with various pelvic floor disorders. She is fluent in English, Hindi and Urdu. Dr. Siddiqui is married and the mother of two children. In her spare time she enjoys reading and traveling.
