Texas Center for Facial Plastic Surgery Relocates to New Expanded Office Space

April 23, 2020

Dr. Ho and Dr. KaoThe Houston medical community attended an open house last December to celebrate the move of the Texas Center for Facial Plastic Surgery to the 20th floor of the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza. Led by chief of facial plastic and reconstructive surgery Tang Ho, MD, the center is a core division of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UTHealth’s McGovern Medical School.

“Our move is predicated on our volume increases and the growth of our division,” says Dr. Ho, an associate professor of otorhinolaryngology at McGovern Medical School and director of the center. “We’ve established a brand new clinic space dedicated to meeting all of our patients’ needs.”

The Texas Center for Facial Plastic Surgery offers the full spectrum of facial cosmetic and reconstructive services, including facelift, brow lift, and thread lift; reanimation procedures for patients with facial paralysis; reconstruction of skin cancer defects; and complex microvascular facial reconstruction. Providers at the center also offer aesthetician services that include skin care, laser resurfacing, micro-needling for facial rejuvenation, injectable Botox®, and fillers.

The open house gave area physicians an opportunity to meet W. Katherine Kao, MD, who joined the department in fall 2019 after completing fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Miami. During her fellowship, Dr. Kao received specialized training in rhinoplasty, skin cancer reconstruction, rejuvenation of the aging face, and hair transplantation. Charlotte Modesto has also joined the practice as patient coordinator and onsite aesthetician.

The center’s new office is located in Suite 2080 of the Memorial Hermann Medical Plaza at 6400 Fannin Street, Houston, TX 77030.
