FAQ

  1. How long does treatment last?
    • The B.R.Y.T.E. program offers a short-term approach to intervention. Youth complete treatment after 20-25 weekly 1 hour sessions.
  2. Do I as a parent/ caregiver have to attend every session?
    • Parents and guardians are a child’s greatest resource, and we encourage you to be actively involved in the treatment process. Your child’s therapist may arrange sessions that include both you and the child, only you, or only the child. This is consistent with effective treatment models, so parents and children who both actively participate achieve the most success. Your therapist will discuss the attendance policy with you and your child.
  3. How much does it cost?
    • Services are offered at no cost.
  4. Are services available in Spanish?
    • Yes, we offer services in English and Spanish.
  5. What will I need to participate in telemedicine?
    • You will need a private room and a laptop, smart phone, tablet, etc. The link to your session will be provided when you create an appointment.
  6. I’m a parent seeking help recovering from a traumatic experience. Where can I go to get support?
