What are the NIH deadlines?

Internal Deadlines for UTHealth grant review and submission?

• Sponsored Projects (SPA)  requires us to submit the initial proposal for budget review 1o days before the deadline and all final science documents are due 3 days before the deadline. Also please keep in mind for progress reports, SPA needs 7 days to review.

What training and access do I need to take as a PI?

• – Annual Financial Disclosure 
• – Grants 101 and 102 
• – New Investigator Training
• – UTHealth Start Training and will need to complete the access form to be able to use the system.
• – eRA commons ID. Fill out this form to obtain an eRA commons ID. If your eRA commons ID is still affiliated with your previous institution, please call them to remove their affiliation so UTHealth can add you.
