Didactics
Core didactic activities
Research track core didactics are held on the fourth Friday of each month and provide the research track residents with immersive instruction in areas of research design, grantsmanship, relevant scientific literature on mental health, ethics in research and biostatistics. Some of the seminars and workshops on grantsmanship, regulatory approvals such as IRB, research ethics and career development would be through the infrastructure provided by the CaDRE program.
Research Track Journal Club
The research track journal club is held twice a month at the Behavioral and Biomedical Science Building. Research track residents are provided with a forum for discussion of scientific papers and explore the relevance of the selected articles to their respective research projects.
