The UTHealth Houston Behavioral Sciences Imaging Center is an advanced research imaging and computational center is a state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary research facility dedicated to high-resolution neuroimaging, biomedical research, translational science, and advanced computational analysis. The center is anchored by a 3 Tesla Siemens MAGNETOM Prisma MRI system, providing sophisticated research imaging capabilities, high spatial and temporal resolution, and advanced acquisition protocols to support cutting-edge neuroscience, behavioral health, cognitive science, and clinical research.

The center integrates advanced imaging technology, high-performance computing, and multidisciplinary scientific expertise. The team includes board-certified radiologists, board-certified physicists, highly trained and research-experienced MRI technologists, computational scientists, and specialized research personnel. This infrastructure supports MRI acquisition, protocol development, image quality assurance, advanced image processing, artificial intelligence and machine-learning applications, data management, and translational research.
