In the Community

Community outreach and social engagement are central to our mission. The YAM team has participated in a variety of community events, including the Ashley Jadine Foundation Lecture Series, Galena Park ISD Vento Community Outreach, the NAMI Walk, Spring ISD Back-to-School Expo, the Pearland ISD Community Partnership Lounge, and Alief ISD’s RAMS Rush and RAMS Camp events. YAM also celebrated the completion of the 2026 Summer Development Program with a closing reception, providing each member of the YAM Team an opportunity to reflect on their experience and share key takeaways from the summer.

YAM will also participate in the Houston Area Suicide Prevention Coalition’s Unite the Fight Suicide Prevention Walk this fall, along with other appearances.
