The NRC public forum, part of international Brain Awareness Week, is one of the largest public neuroscience outreach events held in Houston. The free forum allows community members to interact with clinicians, scientists, and advocates. A major goal of the NRC is to promote neuroscience in the community through collaboration with local advocacy groups.
