Saltarrelli named FADLM
Jerome G. Saltarrelli Jr., PhD, D (ABHI), assistant professor and HLA Lab director in the Department of Surgery, has been inducted as a Fellow into the Academy of Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine.

A graduate of Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center, earning a MSE and PhD in biomedical engineering, he completed a histocompatibility director training fellowship in sold organ transplantation at McGovern Medical School. He continued training at Baylor College of Medicine and The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. He joined the McGovern Medical School faculty in 2016 as director of the Histocompatibility and Immune Evaluation Laboratory at Texas McGovern Medical School/Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center.
