ORL Frontiers set June 20

The Department of Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery will host its annual ORL Frontiers conference June 20 at the TMC3 Collaborative Building (7255 Helix Park Ave.).

The full-day continuing medical education meeting highlights cutting-edge research and emerging technology in the diagnosis and management of common otolaryngologic problems. The event is designed for healthcare professionals who are passionate about advancing their knowledge and skills in the field of Otorhinolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery. The them for the 2025 event is pediatric ENT.

ORL Frontiers provides panel discussions from experts on challenging cases and insights on the latest advancements in the field and research highlights exploring basic science research and selected clinical research topics that are shaping the future of otorhinolaryngology.

Guest of honor for the conference will be Kenneth Lee, MD, PhD, John W. and Rhonda K. Pate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. Lee specializes in pediatric otolaryngology and serves as director of the Pediatric Cochlear Implant Program at UT Southwestern and Children’s Health in Dallas and Plano, Texas.

Lee will give two keynote presentations – “The History, Evolution, and Future of Cochlear Implant Electrode Arrays,” and “Academic Otolaryngology: It’s not a Sprint, It’s a Triathlon.” For a full list of speakers and their topics, visit the ORL Frontiers Website.
