A healthy dose of fun

More than 250 students took a break from their studies to recharge, connect with classmates, and enjoy activities focused on health and well-being during the McGovern Student Wellness Fair. Organized by the Student Wellness & Resilience Committee and sponsored by the McGovern Alumni Association, the event featured crafts, aromatherapy, pet therapy, and other opportunities for students to unwind while reinforcing the importance of self-care throughout medical training.

“Our alumni understand firsthand the challenges and rewards of medical training, which is why the Alumni Association is committed to supporting student initiatives like the Student Wellness Fair. I was thrilled to see the strong participation and positive impact of this event. Supporting students will always remain one of our highest priorities,” said Farah Shah, MD ’89, president-elect of the McGovern Alumni Association.
