UT Participates and Presents at 42nd Annual SAVS Meeting

The Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at the McGovern Medical School recently participated in the 42nd Annual Southern Association for Vascular Surgery Meeting that was held last weekend, January 17th – 20th in Scottsdale, Arizona. Here, our UT research team presented on the following projects they had been working on throughout 2017 including:
Predictors of Outcome in Infrainguinal Bypass for Trauma by Drs. Hunter M Ray, Harleen K Sandhu, Charles C Miller, Edmundo Dipasupil, Rana O Afifi, Ali Azizzadeh, and Kristofer Charlton-Ouw
TEVAR for Descending Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm with Double Aortic Arch

UT CV Department’s Adjunct professor, Dr. Ali Azizzadeh was selected to lead two discussions during the meeting’s third day of breakout sessions.
