Clinical Science Program (CSP)

Message from the Directors

The goals of Clinical Science Program are to foster patient-based research and provide training for budding researchers in cardiothoracic and vascular diseases.  Our practice setting includes one of the busiest aortic surgery centers in the world. Mentored training curricula and weekly research conferences allow research students and fellows to learn hands-on clinical trial design, basic statistical analysis, systematic literature reviews, abstract presentation and scientific writing. Under the auspices of the CSP, we conduct retrospective reviews and prospective investigator-initiated trials.
