The McGovern Center is piloting a new certificate program in the humanities and ethics for UTHealth Houston/McGovern Medical School fellows and residents (PGY-2 and above). The program is directed by Center faculty member Anson Koshy, MD, MBE, and will expose participants to topics such as race and healthcare, death and dying, caregiver and patient narratives, bioethics, physician-writers, narrative medicine, and the visual arts. Those interested in participating in the pilot program should complete the application and provide a letter of support from their program director to Angela Gomez, EdD, MBA, MS, by June 30, 2022.
