McGovern Medical School welcomed the newest members of the Gold Humanism Honor Society, Feb. 27. The mission of Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS) is to recognize individuals who are exemplars of humanistic patient care and who can serve as role models, mentors, and leaders in medicine.
Several students of the McGovern Center’s Medical Humanities Scholarly Concentration were elected as 2023 members of the GHHS chapter. The Center extends its congratulations to Naahanna “Bryan” Akahara, Isabela Bumanlag, Gabriel del Carmen, Dwight Fan, Miles Holmes, Ashley Ikwuagwu, Shelby Irwin, Alexandra Miller, and Trey Waldrop!
