A longtime member of the American Educational Research Association, Angela Gomez, EdD, has joined Division D’s Communications Committee for a three-year term (2023-2026). She was also selected as the division’s Assistant Web Manager and will transition to Web Manager for the 2024-2025 term. Division D focuses on Measurement and Research Methodologies. Gomez is also a member of the organization’s Division I – Education in the Professions, which focuses on educational research in professional education such as the health professions and medical education, areas to which she contributes at UTHealth Houston. Gomez is co-director of UTHealth Houston’s Quality Enhancement Plan, Healthcare Policy for Health Professionals (HP2), and instructor with the McGovern Center.
