The third edition of Handbook for Mortals is now under contract with Oxford University Press. The authors are Renee Flores, MD, MHSA, FACP, EdD, AGSF, Joanne Lynn, MD, MS, MA, and Nathan Carlin, PhD. Flores is a geriatrician and associate professor in internal medicine at McGovern Medical School with an appointment in the McGovern Center. Lynn is an eldercare consultant/advocate and one of the first hospice physicians in the US. Carlin is director and professor of the McGovern Center. A special conference will be hosted in March 2025 to workshop the book.
