Biography

Lilit A. Sargsyan, is assistant professor in the Department of Internal Medicine at McGovern Medical School. She is the Associate Director of the Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship Program and Medical Director of the Pulmonary Function Laboratory at Memorial Hermann Hospital – Texas Medical Center Campus.

During Sargsyan’s undergraduate medical education, she completed theĀ  Medical Humanities Scholarly Concentration (formerly Medical Humanities Certificate Program). Dr. Sargsyan participated in the McGovern Center-Inprint Writing Fellowship, an intensive writing workshop for health professionals. She was a fellow in the program’s inaugural cohort during 2022-2023. Sargsyan joined the McGovern Center as Associate Faculty in Fall 2024.
