The next Off Script: Stories from the Heart of Medicine event will be held on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at the Brazos Bookstore. Off Script is a live storytelling event featuring stories by doctors, medical students, undergraduate students, and others. It is a collaboration between the Humanities Expression and Arts Lab (Heal) at Baylor College of Medicine, multiple institutions across the Texas Medical Center–Rice University and the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics at UTHealth Houston’s McGovern Medical School–and the Tilman J. Fertitta Family College of Medicine.
