McGovern Center associate professor, Keisha Ray, PhD, recently published an editorial in the American Journal of Bioethics. The editorial, “Centering Our Social World in Planetary Health Research Ethics (external link),” discusses planetary ethics—a growing field of inquiry. Ray argues that current perspectives of planetary health research ethics must acknowledge the role of social lives and community dynamics, including power imbalances, resource distribution, and more.
