Biography

Anson Koshy is Adjunct Associate Professor with the McGovern Center, serving as the Director of the GME in Humanities and Ethics Program, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine.

Dr. Koshy is a board-certified Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician who actively engages in humanities and ethics teaching through the Center. He leads the Arts and Resilience Lecture Series and serves as the faculty advisor for the McGovern Center’s humanities digest, Human Ties. He is a visual artist, and his vibrant works have been featured in local venues and group exhibitions, including McGovern Medical School’s Art Wall and the halls of the McGovern Center.

Dr. Koshy participated in the Harvard Macy Institute’s Art Museum-based Health Professions Fellowship from 2021 to 2022. He also received the John P. and Kathrine G. McGovern Distinguished Faculty Award in Professionalism Education in 2022.
