A History of Healing Mural

Designed by Artist-in-Residence Laura Spector, A History of Healing: From Past to Progress was an interactive coloring mural featuring a cabinet of curiosities with imagery spanning from ancient medical illustrations to contemporary scientific achievements. Elements included medicinal plants, historical instruments, anatomical models, and modern technology. The piece was commissioned in honor of the McGovern Center for Humanities and Ethics’ 20th Anniversary.
