Admissions

Eligibility

Eligible candidates must have obtained a Ph.D. or Psy.D. in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA-accredited institution and have completed an APA-accredited internship. Successful applicants typically have acquired training focused in neuropsychology at the graduate school and internship levels, and have often (though not always) chosen a dissertation project pertinent to clinical neuropsychology or rehabilitation psychology. Clinical experiences in an inpatient rehabilitation setting are a strength, but not a requirement.

**As a member of the Association for Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN), our program participates in the annual neuropsychology postdoctoral match through National Matching Services. Applicants must register with NMS to participate in the match. Our program abides by APPCN policy that no person associated with TIRR MH/UTHealth will solicit, accept, or use any ranking-related information from any residency applicant, except when certain exceptions apply. TIRR MH-UTHealth is an Equal Opportunity employer. We encourage applications from members of minority and underrepresented groups in professional neuropsychology.

Our APPCN match program code is 9801.
