As part of our commitment to real-world training, forensic psychiatry fellows at UTHealth Houston participate in a Regional Mock Trial alongside peers from Baylor College of Medicine and UTMB. This full courtroom simulation provides hands-on experience in expert witness testimony, including direct examination and cross-examination, within an authentic legal setting.

Through opportunities like this, fellows develop the practical skills and confidence needed to navigate complex legal proceedings and serve effectively in forensic roles.
