Application Process for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

Starting for the Academic Year 2026-2027 Recruitment Season, all applications for the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship will be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®) (external link).

Eligibility

• Applicants with an M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent)
• Must complete an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
• Be qualified to obtain a Texas Medical License
• Have passed Steps I, II & III of the USMLE by the time the fellowship begins.

Key Dates for Academic Year 2026-2027 Recruitment Season

• July 1, 2026: The time has come! Applicants may apply via ERAS
• August 3, 2026: The excitement builds! We begin conducting interviews.
• August 31, 2026: The end of the road. Last day of interviews.
• September 2, 2026: Ranking opens.
• October 21, 2026: The day you have been waiting for: Match Day!
