Application Process for the 2025-2026 Academic Year

To apply to the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship: send your completed common application, personal statement, CV and three letters of recommendation to Nubia G. Lluberes Rincon, MD, CCHP-MH,FAPA ([email protected]) and Courtney Liddell ([email protected])

Applications are open for the the 2025-2026 AY

Length of Fellowship: 1 year (July 1, 2025 to June 30, 2026)

Application Process for the 2026-2027 Academic Year

Starting for the Academic Year 2026-2027 Recruitment Season, all applications for the Forensic Psychiatry Fellowship will be accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service® (ERAS®).

Eligibility

Applicants with an M.D. or D.O. degree (or equivalent)
Must complete an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
Be qualified to obtain a Texas Medical License
Have passed Steps I, II & III of the USMLE by the time the fellowship begins.

Key Dates for Academic Year 2026-2027 Recruitment Season

July 2, 2025: The time as come! Applicants may apply via ERAS
August 4, 2025: Last Call: Application submissions are closed.
August 8, 2025: The excitement builds! We begin conducting interviews.
September 1, 2025: The end of the road. Last day of interviews.
September 3, 2025: Ranking opens.
October 22, 2025: The day you have been waiting for: Match Day!
