UTHealth Psychosis Specialty Clinic

The UTHealth Houston Psychosis Specialty provides specialized treatment for individuals with serious mental illnesses, such as schizophrenia spectrum disorders and related conditions. Our services are recovery-oriented, meaning we take a collaborative approach to make strides toward individuals’ recovery goals to live meaningful and fulfilling lives. Our mission is to provide the highest quality of care available to improve social and occupational functioning, reduce symptoms, increase autonomy, and prevent hospitalizations.

The UTHealth PSC is part of the Psychosis Research effort at UTHealth – Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. By combining clinical services and research, we aim to advance our understanding of psychosis and subsequent treatments for the millions of individuals experiencing psychosis.
