Treatment Options
Our team provides assessment and treatment for individuals with psychosis that are 12-years-old or older. Our providers have specialized experience in phase-specific treatment, such as early onset psychosis (schizophrenia that starts before the age of 18), child onset psychosis, and first episode psychosis (within two years of psychosis onset), as some research indicates treatment during this period may influence long-term outcomes. We provide expert care for clients with complex and difficult to treat psychosis. The UTHealth Psychosis Specialty Clinic provides evidence-based treatments to all interested individuals with psychosis, regardless of the duration or severity of symptoms.
The UTHealth PSC offers multiple services. Clients choose one or more services they prefer to utilize based on their treatment goals.
